Can someone help identify this from Watchet

Hi all,

 

My first plee for help. Found this rock on Watchet beach Somerset and wondered if this is anything.  I have just cleaned around it for clarity. There are loads of smaller versions of this on the rock.

looks like a spine of a regular sea urchin

Looks like an echinoid spine.
