New Members Code_Talker_101 Posted July 20, 2023 New Members Share Posted July 20, 2023 I am spending the week in Myrtle Beach, SC and I have been finding various shell fossils all week. Today I found this unusual fossil that I can't ID as well as what I believe is a sand dollar fossil in matrix. If I could please get an ID on the first one. Thank you in advance! You have fossils from several different time periods. The first fossil looks like Exogyra costata from the Cretaceous Peedee Formation.

After last night's storm, I was able to find several new species that I'll have to post.

Almost certainly Pleistocene based on the fossil Mellita found slightly further north in NC. Possibly Waccamaw or Canepatch Formation.
