It does at the moment, but may detract from the fossil in the future. :(

Yes, definitely a Goniatie, although I'm not sure the exact species. Maybe someone else knows? In any case, I'd recommend you keep it in a dry area - as soon as pyrite is exposed to air, it begins to degenerate, eventually destroying the fossil, but the process is sped up if the fossil is exposed to water and moistness.

Defenitely a goniatite, but I'am not familliar with Famenian genuses. 

 

 

 

growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional.
