New Members MdiaVizual Posted January 12 New Members Share Posted January 12 PROOF of instant petrification REPTILE (iguana) HEAD FOUND petrified AND SO WELL PRESERVED THAT THE ENTIRE EYE INCLUDING THE CURVATURE OF THE LENS AND THE SURROUNDING PARTS OF THE EYE are still perfectly intact. I’ve seen a lot of posts where people are asking other people whether their find is something or what it is. I am not asking anyone if this used to be the head of reptile. It has the eyes, the teeth, the horns, the skin and a completely intact eyeball lens with the corresponding eye symmetrically orientated on the other side. As well as the other parts surrounding the eye. I don’t know what it means, I’ve never seen it before, I can’t find anything on the Internet, but there is no a question at all as to whether this is a petrified animal head. I’m posting this because I would like to know what people’s opinions are concerning why we haven’t seen more of this. Is it being repressed or is it just that rare? PLEASE do not respond with. “It’s just a coincidence” or you will no longer be taken seriously in this discussion.
FranzBernhard
Welcome to TFF from Austria! 32 minutes ago, MdiaVizual said: Is it being repressed or is it just that rare? It is very rare. It requires, that the fleshy parts of an animal are not decomposing, but preserved / replaced / moulded by another substance or coalified. This happens not so rarely with wood, because its generally a little more stable then flesh, hence there is quite a lot of petrified or coalified wood around in some areas. With animals, this is really, really rare, because flesh is so unstable and also quite often quickly eaten. Concerning your specimen, as you don´t want any discussion, I would like to suggest to bring it to a very reputable museum. Smithsonian and the like. The people there are trained and equipped to handle, document and publish your specimen properly. Good luck! Franz Bernhard
Coco
Hi, We are a forum focused on science and sharing (good) information, not on FB or other social network... This forum counts among its members a large number of professional paleontologists and very enlightened amateurs with an experience of more than 30, 40 or even 50 years for some, always ready to help those who are open to knowledge. The scientific approach leads to ask questions, to observe, analyze, compare etc... Not to impose an idea without proof. If you come in the "request identification" section but you are not open to answers, there is no point in asking. I do not believe your claims, from my 40 years of experience ! Coco PS : There is no point in writing in bold and capital letters. On the internet generally it means that one is not happy and that one shouts ! Ludwigia
Not really any point in responding here, but I'm doing that anyway, aren't I? 6 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
Kane
This is not how science operates. The notion of any legitimate fossil finds being “repressed” (assuming you mean “suppressed”) is not the kind of conspiracy thinking we condone here. It does not appear that you have a fossil, or anything remotely close to what you are claiming this to be. We will agree to disagree, and you can take this item to your local natural history museum or earth sciences department. Topic will be locked. 1 10 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
