Devonian Fish Bone

Curious about this piece of fish bone. From a Middle Devonian (Givetian) site. It's fragmentary and weathered, but the weathering exposed some interesting structures on the underside, consisting of parallel rows of indentations. Not sure what to make of it. Any thoughts?

Parallel ridges of pustulate ornament is classic Holonema. That would be my first guess.

This is northern Illinois? Never heard of anything like that from around here. This might be worth getting into a museum actually.

Central Kentucky actually. Wish there were Devonian deposits here!

Thanks for the help as always.
