Easter Day fossil hunt

I was finally able to get out again this weekend to fossil hunt! I found 3 complete trilobites including a lage flexicalymene that was prone.

2 of the trilobites came from Maysville, Kentucky,  and the other came from Ceasar's Creek on the way back.

I'm not sure what is on the plate I have never seen something like it before.

Any information would be appreciated.

These are all just a little out of focus to me. I am under the initial impression that the 2nd photo might be sponge spicules. Just a thought. Perhaps,  cleaning a couple of the specimens, some sharper photos and zooms might be needed.
