Coprolite or fossilized peanut?

Poking around a local creek, found a beautiful meg with some root decay (such a shame) and what looks like a fossilized cat turd or peanut ...

any help would be greatly appreciated.

The blade and color is absolutely perfect. sometiimes you have to take the good with the damaged
