I am at a loss on this one folks.  Could be just an interesting sandstone specimen, a paperweight, or a cool Triassic vertebra.   Any ideas?  Found in the Caprock area of the Texas panhandle.

Thank you.

Hello,

sorry to dissapoint, but this appears to be an interesting sandstone formation.

No bone is evident, no typical vertebra shape, and the fine, sandy, and striped look suggest it beeing a Sandstone rock. But one question : did you try to cut it in half, or was this line even there when you found it ?

I was hoping but yea, it is certainly sandstone formation.  I didn't cut the specimen, the line is natural.
