Bothrodendron stem fragment with two attached branch! Unbelievable! Stem Some detailes. I've never seen before the branch surface (and leaf scars present) at the point of branch attachment. Wnuk - Ontogeny and paleoecology of the middle Pennsylvanian arborescent lycopod Bothrodendron punctatum, Amer. J. Bot., 1989) I calculated the diameter of the stem - some 14,9 cm and length of the stem above this fragment (from these branches to the top of the tree) - some 6,2 meters.
