A few years ago he tried to donate an X-fish to the state for free, but they had to give him something like a million dollar tax write-off, and it fell through. I think he needed the tax write off because he had a T-rex worth a ton that ended up going to Japan if I remember correct. He used to live in Great Bend. He was also listed on People Magazine as one of the "World's most eligible Bachelors" after selling that T-rex.
