sharko69
Found this small bone that appears to be a scapula from something but unsure what ot could be from. Found on the beach in Galveston, TX. Possibly Pleistocene. Any ideas?

Brett Breakin' Rocks
Cool .. those fragments are always hard to pin down. Definitely some sort of rodent ... or small furry creature. Have you seen this page with comparisons of modern animals ? It's nice because it includes the oft missing shots of the connection point perpendicular to the camera. http://www.jakes-bones.com/2013/04/comparing-bones-scapulas-shoulder-blades.html Cheers, Brett
