Got them from Java Indonesia. The seller claimed they are "tiger" teeth. Can someone tell me more about them? Bigger one is 4cm smaller around 3cm.

A few days ago I arranged some megalodon tooth fossils in my collection in a row according to their size. I found two black teeth that were noticeably different in shape from the other brown ones, their long sides and thickness were almost equal, but the short sides were noticeably more curved and the crowns were more slender. I'm wondering if it's because they are belong to individuals of different genders? Or maybe the black teeth belonged to a different species, because according to photos of the excavation site, the black formation was below the brown formation. Besides, the bigger black one has a very small remaining cusps.

Recently bought a 14.25 cm tooth from Indonesia and it cost me half a month's salary. It has a strong smell of rust and a little bit of pyrite filling in bourlette, but I’m not sure if it is real because I never heard about it. Besides, the gap between root and bourlette seems to have been slightly polished. Check with UV light Split edge

Need some help with identifying this fish vertebrate, can this one be a tuna vert? The size is a little bit more than 4 cm.

Just acquired this associated fish vertebrate, the size of the rock behind this is about 28 cm, and that site produces a lot of megalodon teeth so I think it’s a Miocene fish. I'm not sure if it's identifiable by the vertebrae alone.

Hello everyone, I've recently acquired this tooth from Indonesia. The seller mentioned it is a tiger tooth but they don't have more information. Just acquired this megalodon tooth from Indonesia, it has some kind of etching all over the crown, but both root and the crown are solid, not like most of the land find indo meg. I’m wondering if this tooth is digested ?

hi all, I purchased a handful of Pliocene shark teeth from Indonesia recently, and the seller included the attached tooth. I'm assuming that it is mammal incisor?. The fauna includes both marine and terrestrial mammal teeth. The enamel preservation is consistent with stegodont and hippo teeth that I have purchased from him. The scale is in cm. Any ideas?

Bought a "partial Stegodon tooth" a while back. Originally from Indonesia. Does it look legitimate, and does it look like Stegodon at all?

I have an old collection. I bought it from a fossil hunter in Java, Indonesia. The Length 20 cm. The Width 10 cm. The Weight 3 kg I don't know if it is a real Rhino Horn Fossil or fake. Please give me some opinion about this.

Hi I got these teeth with some other fossil and i just dont know what they are from. They are Pleistocene I believe going of the other fossils from this area. (Indonesia, Java) Teeth numbered 1 and 2 are crocodilian, i know that much, they are clear to see and still have the serrations down either side... I am not sure if tooth 3 is also crocodilian? but maybe the surface/ details of the tooth has been polished (a real bad habbit they have over there) but teeth 4,5 & 6 are different. Their colours are very different, but again, I'm not sure. I think they have been polished also. I did have a tooth a while back that was ID'd as bear (species unverified) not sure if these are bear, wolf, or something else? It's quite hard researching fossils from there, so would be great to hear your views., Many thanks in advance. sorry took these without scale, they measure largest 130mm and the smallest 70mm

Just received this polished stegodon tusk from indonesia and would like to get some opinions about it. never had any issues with this seller. But who knows. Its around 60cm and 7-8kg

I`m new to colllecting mammal fossils and thinking about buiyng this tusk. The seller said its a mastodon tusk and no the usual stegodon tusk, which seems pretty common. Couldn`t find much information about mastodons from indonesia. So I`m wondering if its real and also how "rare" is it?
