Katrina
Hi there, so I came across this rock awhile ago. I found it in the mountains just west of fort Collins, co. I've spent a lot of time trying to find information on it but not having much luck. It's pretty hard, doesn't leave a streak and has weird layers. It's around 2 inches or so and round-ish. Hope the pictures are good enough. If not, I can always take more. Thank you for any info! Edited February 13, 2020 by Katrina
Wxman
I'd be curious to see a close up of the darker area in the center, from both sides.

Wxman
That's bizarre. Looks like a fossilized McMuffin. Can't wait to here some qualified opinions.
Rockwood
Chert nodule seems probable.

Creek - Don
If you slice that open, you may find crystals inside or not.
