Kolya
Is it possible to identify fish by this vertebra? Scale - mm. Western Ukraine, most probably Miocene. Thanks!
Fossildude19
Probably not, unfortunately. Without any context of other bones, fish vertebra are rather indistinct, and have no real genus or species identifiable characteristics. Bony fish vertebra indeterminate, is what my label would read. 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
