Calvert cetacean mandible ID

Found this mandible in a rock fall at Calvert cliffs in June. I believe it’s mysticete because of the lack of tooth sockets, but am open to complete redirection if I’ve got it all wrong. Any ideas?

Wow, I think you may be right. That was my first thought but I couldn’t make sense of that tapered flat plane with so much missing. Thank you doctor. I also found this vertebrae nearby. No reason to assume it’s associated but tell me what you think:
