Lots of rocks with tiny fossils. This was on one of these rocks.  Most of the fossils are Crinoids but this looks like something else  Any ideas?

Here is a pic of what you mentioned...looks a lot like the smaller stem of one!

They exist in quite a range of sizes.  If you can  see the end of yours, you should be able to see the siphuncle, which will look like a small circle within the larger circle.
