brazilian fish fossil

Just got this 20cm long fish fossil labled as from the santana formation brazil. Does anybody have an idea about the species?

20 cm?  :headscratch:

It looks like a Dastilbe crandalli. , but I think 20 cm is out of the size range for those. :unsure:

This paper puts a limit on them as 180 MM, or 18 cm. :unsure: 

And that is extremely rare.  The paper only included 4 specimens over 65 mm. 

 

Is 20 cm the length of the fish, or the length of the block?

the matrix is 20.5cm and the fish around 17.5cm.

OK, that sounds more likely. 

That is a great example, and rare due to it's size.
