Misha
Looking to trade these fossils from the Kalkberg Formation of NY for some other Palaeozoic fossils especially from the Ordovician-Devonian. These fossils are mostly brachiopods and can be very well preserved, they are however all in pretty hard limestone and may be challenging to prep. Orthid, somewhat hard to see, it is in the top right: Meristella: Atrypa? Looks like the shell is complete just obscured by matrix Another orthid:
Misha
Pair of spiriferids, should be pretty complete. Another one that may be Atrypa: Unidentified, Large Brachiopod. Would need prep to get an ID Spiriferid: Uncinulus sp.:
Misha
A slightly crushed, but complete rhynchonellid. Brachs with both valves are not common at this location Spiriferid, very similar to the other one Meristella and part of a crinoid stem: Orthid: Another orthid: Not sure, may be Atrypa:
Misha
Meristella and another, unusual brachiopod. Two rhynchonnelids, Uncinulus sp. and something else. An orthid and a meristella, I think. This piece has a very large part of a Meristella on the back as well
Misha
Here are some more: Spiriferid along with a crinoid piece Atrypid along with some other brachiopods: This one is a Leptaena, not sure how complete, but you can see edges of it peeking out from the rock on the right side A rhynchonellid, once again I am not sure how complete but the exposed part of it is very nicely preserved A fairly large Orthid valve:
Misha
This piece has two uncinulus sp. brachs they are kind of hard to see, but when prepped should come out nice. One looks complete but slightly compressed the other I am not sure as it is only the edge peeking out. I also have a bunch of these loose Uncinulus of varying completeness if anyone is interested
