Found this concretion in Redwood creek by the Redwood National Forest. Clearly is some sort of shellfish, was wondering if anyone could provide any more details on when this fossil is from and what it is?

Welcome to the Forum. Do you know the age or formation that the fossil came from?

It looks like possibly a member of the Trigoniidae family.

I found a map of part of the Redwood National Park. Do you find the formation that it is from?

I dont know man. I see a partial ammonite whorl.

Many times I've wondered how much there is to know.
