Did you ever figure this little one out?

Thanks and nope on the miniature alien spacecraft but haven't really tried.  Its pretty cool.  If the Tucson show happens I plan to show a few paleontologists who attend, they may have a clue.  Will post it if I find out.

Wow, your prep person does amazing work.  :dinothumb:That claw is wicked looking.  :bone_claw:

It is a cool claw, thanks..I will do some of the cleaning on these type of bones and minor crack fill but when it comes to key repairs like the claw or minor resto I leave it to the pro's.   I know what my limitations are.   She is great, started working at the Black Hills Institute a long time ago, went private and I have been using them for the past 25 years.

Love the whole thread! Great report for as Monica said "dream-come-true for most of us"! Not a collector of dino bones but have always wanted to help on a dig (and maybe have a self collected piece)

I found one that looks a lot like this little vert this summer.  I have not IDed it.  I will try to post a photo this evening.

My dentary is all finished from my prep person in South Dakota.  Just a baby Edmonto 12"  (30 cm) long.  Will pick it up June.

No teeth, typical of what we find at this site.  No resto, minor crack fill and cleaning snd stablizing

One time in the early 90's, I prospected some private property with the permission of the landowner in McCone County, MT.  Not only did I not find a juvenile hadrosaur jaw, nor a T. rex tooth, nor a nice vertebra, I found absolutely nothing.  It has happened before in another state in rocks of more recent age.
