does anyone see anything that resembles any kind of dermis of any kind in these photos

To me, looks like normal weathered rock, caused by heating/cooling, wet/dry, both of which can cause expansion/contraction and the polygons you see.

I'm seeing the result of geological processes at work other than the fossilization of skin.

I agree with the above, cool geological piece but not a fossil I'm afraid. Here's an old thread that has some nice pictures of hadrosaur skin impressions, so you can see what'd you'd expect from a genuine fossil of this nature.
