Blxbrry
I found these on a sand bank next to the Brazos River. I believe they (the brown ones) are fossilized bone as they are quite heavy but I’m not really sure as I am quite new to rocks/fossils. I was wondering what type of the bone the weirdly shaped one is (joint?) and whether the second to last picture is of a plant fossil. Thanks in advance! Rockwood
The first and those like it are cortical bone. The sixth is petrified wood.
val horn
They are nice bone figments. I don’t think you will get any further Id, no articular surfaces visible on unique structures Edited April 3, 2021 by val horn Spelling 1
