Unknown Cephalopod(?)

Hi everyone, I recently took a trip down to New York for fossil and mineral hunting and I found this cephalopod(?) fossil on a Utica road cut. Any ideas on species or if it is a cephalopod? A friend said it could be pyritized, but I'm not sure.

Should be noted: I found a couple of these but this ones the best. The one my friend suggested could be pyritized is in a big bucket of finds from that spot.

This maybe a helpful PDF

Doesn't mention New York in the title, but maybe there are some similarities between the states?

Yeah, looks like a nautiloid from the Ordovician Utica Shale. Unfortunately their shells are always crushed and flattened, lacking diagnostic ornamentation, and are generally poorly preserved, though still cool looking specimens. Many I've seen are pyritized. One fellow told me he found one that stretched across the backseat of his car.  Congrats.
