I found this in Little River, South Carolina. I'm trying to decide if it's just a very odd corner of a shell or if it's a crab claw or something else entirely. I've found similar looking crab claws in the past but this just looks different. Doesn't look like it has layering like a shell usually has. It's hollow inside and it's about an inch long. Phone camera isnt that great. Took the best pics I could get.

Corner of an oyster shell, I think.

I agree with Tim.  This appears to be a worn, oyster shell hinge fragment.
