Robert Mahorney
Very well preserved crinoid cross in the internal body sutures in the bone and even some skin or tissues between the sections
Rockwood
Actually the lighter color is the remnants of the columnals. The darker is a cast of the lumen space which served as their circulatory system. This system utilized sea water instead of blood. I think they may have had a primitive sort of blood separate from it.
westcoast
Looks like partially dissolved columnals but the articulation facets have been less dissolved, probably because they have been partially silicified. Odd preservation, so nice specimen.
