Hi Everyone!  I'm new here.  My brother has had this in his collection since he found it in the early 1960's.  Can anyone help me identify it?  Found somewhere in Wyoming - probably in the Big Horn Basin area.

I dont know what the paper on the side is, if it is used to guess the size it is missed ! :s_cry: For your future photos, PLEASE take a ruler and photograph it with your fossil. If you don’t have one, click on the last link of my signature, print the paper and put your fossils on it before making your photos ;)

Hmmmm... Not seeing enough convincing coprolitic detail. I'm going with concretion as well.

No, no, you add the wood grain and divide by two to compensate for the variation in the size of each. Don't laugh, it is a valid concept to some degree with caveats.
