These general photos make it difficult and complicated even for someone familiar with this location to give indications on the individual pieces. val horn Posted December 27, 2021 Share Posted December 27, 2021 the picture where you are holding a small flat piece looks like turtle shell, as rockwood indicated most of the pieces will be bone fragments. the peace river is such a remarkable place, it can be overwhelming. there are fossil clubs in florida that have regularly hunt the peace river; if you can go with them I think you would enjoy it.
