Could this be fossilised wood?

Hello,

I visited a few days ago the Habarana Eco Park in Sri Lanka and at the viewpoint, there were some really strange rocks that looked like they contained pieces of fossilised wood - the location of the view point (I guess) shown on Google maps:

The rocks in situ look like on pictures WA0 to 03.

Here are the close-ups of a few pieces:

Is it fossilised wood?

It looks like a silicic pegmatite with large crystals; an intrusive igneous rock.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

Agree it's an intrusive igneous rock. WIthout a better scale, I can't be sure what the dark crystals are. Could be hornblende or schorl.
