I found this bone yesterday on the surface of a boulder on the beach just East of the slipway at Blue Anchor, Somerset, UK.  

 

No idea what it is, anyone recognise it?

There is a Triassic bone bed at that location, and this looks reptilian to me as opposed to fish, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to narrow it down. 

 

It's a great find.

Wow, what a bone!

 

Looks to me like a marine reptile humerus bone. From probability, I think this is most likely ichthyosaur, but I cannot speak diagnostically as I don’t have the knowledge and wouldn’t want to pretend I do!

I think calli99 is on the right track.  These flipper bones can be tough to ID.  They all look quite similar.
