After quite literally stumbling upon this deposit today we had quite the day looking for gonaitites.

Not entirely sure. Definitely a mix of a few species. All upper Devonian stuff!

This is why it pays to be observant and curious anytime you are out in the wild. Hope you found these after your fishing trip and not before as it would be difficult to concentrate on fish after finding such lovely fossils.

Nice haul of goniatites :D congrats.

Seems to be some gephuroceratids in the pictures, the larger specimens are probably Manticoceras .

so I would say Frasnian in age :)
