Kbsib
This fossil was found today during low tide. It is longer than most shark’s teeth we’ve been finding. Measures approximately 4.75cm x 2cm. I’ve picked up A LOT of oyster shells, pieces of phosphate and rocks thinking they were teeth. This may well be the same thing. It’s the only way I’m going to learn so I appreciate any help in identifying. Thanks!
Fossildude19
This looks like a piece of a shark tooth, to me. Kbsib
Thanks @Fossildude19 Is it too worn to determine what kind of shark and/or age?
Fossildude19
Too worn for ID, I think. I don't know the age of fossils from Pawley's Island, SC. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
