Exciting Finds!

I found these dinosaur fossils near where I live. One is dinosaur skin and one is a footprint of a long-necked dinosaur. I already know this, but maybe someone could tell me how much they are worth? Sorry for the closeups - I'll try to go back later and get wider shots.

:P. Those have been confirmed by archeologists to be a jackalope egg and a chupacabra track...ugh, so much misinformation out there.  :shakehead:  :D

You made a mistake :duh2: In your last photo, it’s about two elephants drinking in a pond.

No, sorry. But lets blame the Alps for this acoustic barrier ;). So not a fossil - clearly placed in wrong forum, too!! :D

I suggest you bring it to a nearby museum. Perhaps they have some kind, patient soul willing to help you. :trilosurprise: :zzzzscratchchin: :ighappy:

The top photo is a several decades old McDonald’s hamburger bun, not a fossil.

The Forum is staging an intervention of Carl since he is suffering from a severe case of pareidolia. We are taking him to the world renown Anning Clinic in Sherman, Texas where he will be treated by Dr. Mary Anning herself. The Anning Clinic is situated on the banks of Post Oak Creek where patients can collect numerous Cretaceous oysters, clams, corals and shark teeth. There are daily trips to fossil locals such as Lake Texoma, Jacksboro, Waco and North Sulphur River.

After completing the program and enrolling in Pareidoliacs Anonymous, Carl will move to a halfway house either at the Heard Museum in McKinney or the Perot Museum in Dallas where he will give museum tours six days a weeks for precocious grade schoolers and will answer all questions giving properly cited references if requested.

Based on my analysis of the footstep, I have concluded that a large dino likely trip over that rocky curb. I would poke around up ahead and check for bones. Nice finds!

Your first photo look more like the fossilized skin of my famous great great great ancestor Ötzi.

The ichnofossil is neither a dinosaur, neither elephants, it's the trance of his nails wich he never cut.
