Scomberomorus stormi jaws

These two jaws are similar to the ones shown on page 87 of Publication 152.

Could they be Scomberomorus stormi?  I don't see any teeth, just asking.

A teleost fish jaw segment like you said sounds possible...expect some kind of tiny teeth though? I have found Chimera jaw segments absent teeth from NJ Cretaceous deposits. Wish I could be more help.

I think it may be a cleithrum.

Thank you,  I didn't think of that. I will update my label with them being a possible part of the skull.
