Looks like kids were having fun collecting fossils at the Lake Worth (news reel)

Wow! Some of the shirts styles are still commonly used by paleontologists and geologists today. We never were a fashionable lot.
 

Some misconceptions still survive: using Gryphaea instead of Texigryphaea.
