My collection is enriched with new pieces from the dear, old Europe.

 

This is a Gryphaea dilatata, the so-called "devil's toenail", from Villers-sur-Mer in Normandy, France:

Now a little (2,8 cm) and nice Myophorella clavellata, also from Villers-sur-Mer in France.

And now, a completely different phylum. From Lleida in Spain a Cretaceous Placosmilia vidali (it reminds me a little of the sandworm from the movie "Dune")

And now, the ammonites!

First, a Parkinsonia pachypleura from Saint-Benin-d'Azy, in France.

The second one is a big Ceratites laevigatus from Héming, in France. Note the smooth living chamber and the ceratitic lines of suture:

The other side isn't well preserved, but is partial visible the internal structure of the phragmocone:
