Complete N00b here The whole piece is about 5.5" long, the striated part that we believe is fossil piece is approx 1 inch long. Thank you so much for your help! FossilNerd Posted July 3, 2022 Share Posted July 3, 2022 Looks like a broken rugose corallite to my eye. I’d also take a closer look at this little section here. Maybe another coral fossil peaking out? A colonial coral with smaller corallites perhaps?
