Teeth are 1.19 and 1.09 inches, respectively. How do I remove the ugly, glued sand tip on tooth 1? Acetone? All tips appreciated!

I’ve always had pretty good luck using plain water to soften it up. But and this is a big but… its also the same glue they use to hold any fractures together. They probably put the sand there to hide any missing pieces, fractures, blemishes, etc etc. so make sure you really want to uncover what may or may not be under there… i had one piece that  I thought the tooth was solid so i soaked it to loosen it and i ended up with unassociated fragments….
