Found this on the beach one morning started looking up some birds in the area and haven't been able to find similar claw. Anyone know what kind of animal this guy belongs to?

Hello BJohn and welcome to the forum!

Very Interesting find, for now I am not sure if claw or horn core, tending to say recent, not fossil, but hard to say.

Can you post pictures from all sides, if possible next to a ruler for size?

Best Regards,

J

Looks like a modern bird claw t'me.

So you're right either way as a bird is a dinosaur.

How big is it?

Looks like about 5 cm to me, but I think the glas table (?) is misleading.

Can you post a pic of the proximal (?) , the thick end?

Best regards,

J
