ChrisSarahRox
Was found in Grant County NM near a dry wash but this one was under around a foot of soil. Any help would be great.
digit
Interesting lumpy rock with that appears to be some silicified dark mineral inclusions in it. Too reminiscent of a mangled chocolate chip cookie (must be hungry this morning). Don't know what more can be said for this rock. It's not showing any signs of being a fossil or including smaller fossils. Oddly textured but in my opinion a good example of a leaverite: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaverite Cheers. -Ken 1
Rockwood
There must have been some energy in the environment when this rock formed. A swift flowing river or a storm washed shoreline would be a couple possibilities. Hey, it's something. Maybe a clue.
JohnJ
A lot of volcanic rocks in that County. I suppose differential erosion and erosive polish can sculpt interesting pieces like this. Grant County, NM 1 The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ

Randyw
Heck. I would have collected it just for those dark crystals in the last picture. Those are cool.
