Turtle Fossil from SC Beach?

Normally we only go out shell hunting, but recently learned a bit about fossils and shark teeth here in SC.  So we found this on our first trip on the beach.  Might it be a plastron bone?  We're very new at this hobby so any help on the species and time period would be appreciated (if it is a fossil).IMG_2137.thumb.jpg.5a991f4c8597bab0b3a13761db9e004d.jpgIMG_2138.thumb.jpg.75c4be19253286eed1901fc4aa630ed5.jpgIMG_2140.thumb.jpg.c73b5510362fdf03f3c81cb3d50a280b.jpg

I think this likely is part of a fossilized turtle plastron. The probable age would be Miocene to Pliocene. You should wait for other opinions however.
