Also that huge onchopristis was that a composite or all from one specimen? If so that's incredible! Thanks, claims its one but you know as well as anyone, who knows without close inspection.
Haravex
So to play devil's advocate here it's possible to compare the claws to the known and well published material of baryonyx

Some are complete, some have the tips and back restored so they are all different. I asked the seller how he was able to identify them and he just indicated that he spent lots of time reviewing publications. Interesting because there is hardly anything published on a good number of these theropods and hardly anything on claws. They are massive and expensive: BEWARE ooooooh, think I have to take my special car and go to the show...., nice nice material Wheat Buck GIF – Wheat Buck Spaceship – GIFs entdecken und teilen (tenor.com)

I think they are mostly composites, like the mosas, plesios and crocs. Never seen one in the field. A moroccean friend offered me two some years ago, he said he thinks they are original. did not buy. But, after seeing one of them at the Tucson show in 2019 after prep it was definitely not 100% original, well done mixed. But, great great display-material and a fantastic job Edited January 27, 2023 by rocket

My Dad and I just landed in Tuscon tonight and are going to attend tomorrow. Any recommendations on booths? I've got a small wishlist, but most likely will just get 1-3 things. Wishlist: Dragonfly Horseshoe Crab Eurypterid Keichousaurus Watermelon Tourmaline Crystal Ankylosaurus Pleistocene Mammal Tully Monster I love the Mazon Creek stuff you posted and I'd definitely shell out for a Tully if there's one there, but a millipede or jawless fish would be cool too. Okay are the seller claims valid? The preparation is rough, but the identification is correct. It is Tethysaurus nopcsai from the Turonian of Goulmima, near Asfla, Morocco. The jugal is placed wacky and the quadrate is... just missing. Mart1980
I have no idea why I get the message "Sorry, there was a problem responding to this content". But I want to let you know @Troodon that I'm enjoying this Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show topic again very much. I'm following it with interest. Although I really have to travel once myself, this contribution gives me the feeling that I can take a look there. Very nice, every year again. So check out all the sellers at: Fossil and Mineral Alley at the Days Inn So far best Fossil venues MARKETPLACE RMGM Fossil Co-op The other key fossil venues are shown at the beginning of this topic all open today. Troodon
Posting and having very early morning coffee before I head out today One of my favorite fossils so far is this Ichthyosaur in a position, color you don't often see and the detail, wow great preservation. Check out those paddles. From the UK a spectacular armored fish Beautiful small items but pricy Seller was most proud of this specimen.
