Bone identification please

Hello! I'm a complete newbie here so any help would be gratefully received. I've recently been given a small collection of bones that belonged to a neighbour of my parents here in the UK. He was a fossil collector who recently passed away. The largest bone has been identified as a woolly rhino femur but I'm struggling with the others, especially this strange looking thing! Apologies for the background.

From this angle I'd say pretty confidently that you have the back portion to a cranium here, you can see the foramen magnum in the middle and the occipital condyles either side of that. As for what animal it came from, that I'm not sure I can help with. Without some idea where/when it came from I'd struggle to narrow down the potential species to compare it to, but it looks like a pretty sizeable animal to me!

Hope that helps a little.
