blubyrdstudios
I took my family on a cross country trip and to do some overlanding in the desert. We stopped in Oklahoma to look for rose rocks around a lake. While taking pictures, I noticed this unique formation and the more I looked at it, it just seemed to look like a fossil of some sort. It was massive. I'm posting here to hopefully get some input.
Ludwigia
Location? Do you know the stratigraphy of the area? Is that the only photo you have? Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
Rockwood
It does warrant further investigation, but the texture looks more geologic to me from this perspective.

blubyrdstudios
I'll see if I can get the geo location off of the photo. Yes, I had my 3 kids so this was the only photo I could snap of it. I found it on lake Thunderbird.
Fossildude19
Exact Locations removed. The area of Cleveland County exposes Permian and Quaternary aged rocks, per this geological map: It is a State Park, so the park authorities should probably be notified. 1 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Rockwood
But what the left gives the right takes away. Notice how not bone like the same level is there.
Ludwigia
I don't think we'll ever be able to say for sure what it is without more informative photos from different angles. 2 Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
