Shark Tooth Collection

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, as promised, here is my full collection. I'll be uploading pics periodically. The first set of pictures are teeth from my early collection... mostly lower quality and non rare teeth. I'm saving the best for last! Let me know if there are any teeth in particular you would like to see close ups of.

First pic has megs from Venice, a posterior Chilean meg, New Caledonia meg, and a deformed Aurora meg.

Hello Ajracrew,

That is a very nice collection with a great diversity both in locality and species. Good job and hope your collection continues to grow. Happy holidays.

Great collection. Lots of really pretty Megs from all over. You must really invest some time into hunting to have that many... I have a few, but no where even remotely close to what you've just shown us. Thanks for the peek.

Thank you for the kind words everyone! I left out a shot of my Calvert cliffs meg and I also have a brand new 3"+ Bone Valley meg that I'll shoot a pic of soon. I'm going to be adding one or maybe two very nice teeth to my collection soon, so stay posted! I have to start seeing whats out there that catches my eye

Awesome collection. Do you hunt and find most of these or are they purchased?

Majority are purchased. I've been trying to find my own but we all know its not the easiest! My largest find is the meg tooth from Venice pictured above. This year I'm hoping to get out there and grow my collection by finding my own.

The Meg on the far right in your last pic looks like a Calvert Meg. Is that the one you left out?

Daryl.
