Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt
behind the trailer, my desert

Ajacrew, you know there there megalodon, I wanted to ask you a question: has what price would you estimate my tooth of Malta (Pliocene)?

To be 100% honest, I am not sure. I haven't come across a megalodon tooth from Malta for sale before. As all meg teeth, size, condition, and color all play a very large role in pricing, but location can be all the difference too. I know it wouldnt go for too cheap, thats for sure.

OK, thank you anyway. ;)

I saw that you also have megs from Belgium. Those are also very rare! I haven't come across many megs from the locality either.

It's true. The American teeth are less rare but all the same sold very expensive. Of the blow in France I had less evil to exchange Belgian teeth.

They were not recently found. Now it is more and more rare.

I've seen a fair few teeth from Malta, and I'm not sure that yours is really Maltese. Are you sure of the locality?

The same goes for the Belgian teeth. I've seen a lot of Belgian teeth, but those look more like South Carolina River teeth. Not just because they are grey, but because of the preservation, size and degree of damage.

I cannot swear it seen that it is not me who found them. The ochre tooth was effectively exchanged as a tooth of the Pliocene of Malta. What other proposition? The grey teeth would come from clearings of the bottom of the port of Antwerp.

The Maltese teeth are typically found eroding out of limestone and clay, but that one looks as if if was found off the coast of Wilimington, North Carolina. Are you sure about the Belgian teeth? I've seen very few of that completeness from Antwerp.

Hello arjacrew,

Yes ,it is a fairly complete tooth. Especially when you know he is transported through a 3.5 miles pipeline!

Next pictures:

This one I found on top of the Boom clay/Oligocene.

Sometimes (if you're lucky)you find on top of the boom clay some eroded beds of material from miocene and pliocene.

Mostly the fossils are in verry bad shape. But once in a while you find nice stuff!!(last picture). :D

I fetch some Belgians to express me their opinion. Wally, you who found teeth in Antwerp, you think what of the teeth that I presented?

After study of some specialists of the Belgian teeth I think that you are right. These teeth come surement of Caroline. The one who exchanged them to me made a mistake.

I make study the tooth of Malta.

  • 2 weeks later...

Next is a beautiful Peruvian chubutensis. Has obvious repair to one of the root lobes, but the color and quality of the blade make up for it. Had a really hard time photographing the color.. There is bright yellow, bright red, purple, and white. Awesome tooth.
