Paleoc
Work done to the tip? Chile teeth often have this hard conglomerate stuck to them and from looking closely under magnification at this tooth and examining it under black light, I think they must have either buffed off the matrix leaving a small amount covering most of the tip (the tip and the sides of the tip with serrations show up as original under black light) or painted something over it. Possible it was repaired but if so it was an odd repair fixing only the center of the end but leaving the sides and tip intact like possibly filling it a hole. More likely, I think they just buffed off the matrix.

AeroMike
Dang Rick, I have one that measure 2.5" but it is missing most the root, so I bet with a full root I would be close to that 3" mark lol " This comment brought to you by the semi-famous AeroMike"

RickNC
I found this one as well. I think if the very tip was there it would hit the mark. Largest lower I have ever seen and it has a massive root.

Past Hunter
I don't think there will be as many 3" GW as there are 3" mako. Awesome tooth there. My biggest is only around 2 1/2"I agree I have two 3" Mako teeth. My biggest GW is about 2.5" "If you choose not to decide.
