Jeffrey P
My only complete speciman of Camarotoechia dryope, a Lower Devonian brachiopod from the Glenerie Limestone exposed along Route 9W between Kingston and Saugerties, NY. Both valves are attached and still open and close. DO NOT FEED!!! Edited September 16, 2013 by Jeffrey P
Ridgehiker
That certainly is a unique preservation. I've collected a lot of brachs but rare to see one with the valves in that position. I like your 'do not feed'...perhaps we need a Hallowe'en thread of spooky fossils. Auspex
Not just 'articulated', but 'articulating'; very interesting!
