JustPlainPetrified
My friend Jon and I spent two hot days in the Drumheller & Brooks areas of Alberta, looking for ammonites and possibly some dinosaur fossils. I've already posted the dino fossils in the Fossil ID section. Here are a few photos of the area. It was very hot and we went through a lot of water. We did come across baculites and ammonites. I've attached a few photos.
PFOOLEY
Pretty sweet area ya got there. Is that water or am I just seeing things? Looks a lot like my stompin' grounds...can't imagine a river running through it! Edited August 2, 2014 by PFOOLEY "I am glad I shall never be young without wild country to be young in. I haven't been to Albuquerque since December 4th, 1989 and it snowed! We still made our way up to Window Rock...meetings on the Navajo justice system...long time ago it seems now.Grant
