SoreBack
Hello Folks, I got out yesterday for a few hours of scanning gravel bars and although no large teeth or Mosasaur material turned up I did get a nice Hybodus cephalic. The micro on top of the dime was in a small cluster of teeth that I got down onto my hands and knees to pick up. Otherwise I would have never spotted it. PFOOLEY
That cephalic hook is very neat. How about a close up? "I am glad I shall never be young without wild country to be young in. Fossildude19
Nice finds! A couple of nice Archaeolamna kopingensis there as well! Glad you got out. Thanks for posting them. SoreBack
It was so warm yesterday that I had to take off layers of clothes to keep from passing out. The last time I was out I had to use stream water to defrost teeth from the gravel bars. The Archaeolamna is my favorite tooth from the NJ Cretaceous, I got one earlier this year that is by far my best Cretaceous tooth yet.
