Auspex
It resembles the Rough Pinna (Pinna rudis), but it is spinier than what is typical. luluboo1
Definitely a Pinna, aa pen shell. This is a species of bivalve that burrows into sand ans attaches by way of a hairy byssus, sometimes called the beard, which entangles pebbles and other debris to anchor itself. Taogan
Third vote for a modern Pinna shell, bit unusual as a beach find with so much detail. The ones I've seen are a bit more worn.
luluboo1
Checked my sources. Pinna nobilis.
